Sales Manager

Inspired Closets Chicago, a leader in custom closet design and home organization products in the greater Chicagoland area, is looking for a strong, highly motivated Sales Manager with a design background to lead our Chicagoland area in-home sales team and outbound builder development team.

About You

You must have prior experience in high-end design-related sales and sales management to consumers in a home sales environment with a short sales cycle. You must also have experience developing and managing relationships with strategic business alliances that can refer new opportunities for the sales team.

  • You are a disciplined sales leader with a successful history of creating accountable, goal-driven teams through effective coaching and development in a design-related B2C environment.
  • You must have prior success selling and growing your own book of business while leading a sales team.
  • You must have prior sales success hunting for and closing new business by displacing the competition with value rather than price.
  • You are a highly motivated sales achiever who works well without supervision and who thrives as a member of a collaborative team.
  • You are a sales hunter, not a farmer.
  • You have successfully hired and managed sales hunters.
  • You thrive as the underdog, and you are as consumed by the sales journey as you are about winning the sale.
  • You sell consultatively by establishing a trusted advisor relationship, and you possess exceptional listening and problem-solving skills.
  • You are a passionate, goal-oriented achiever who neither takes nor makes excuses.

Responsibilities
Our ideal Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Actively participating in prospect and client projects to ensure success.
  • Growing and developing our sales team to meet our revenue growth needs.
  • Facilitating in-field and showroom sales calls, sales development, and training.
  • Developing individual growth plans for salespeople to maximize their sales potential.
  • Actively collaborating with the senior management team.

Experience with luxury B2C, high-end Construction, architecture, luxury coverings, Interior Design, Custom Cabinetry and Storage, Custom Closets and Organizing Systems. You must be willing to work in the office, travel locally weekly, and have prior earnings of at least $110K in total compensation, including bonuses. First-year on-target earnings $136K
