Job Description:

This opportunity is supporting the organization within the ExCAL program (Exceptional Capabilities for All Leaders) as it establishes and implements the strategy around business platforms, including but not limited to the Field Service Management (FSM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. The intent is to transition operating companies and branches onto platforms in a strategic manner that optimizes and expedites value capture as well as minimizes disruption to the business. This program will also encompass legal entity rationalization and shared services establishment discussions as necessary to facilitate the system and platform moves. The scope of the program includes both business transformation and technology across the company in several phases over the next 2-3 years.



Position Summary: The Lead Integration Engineer will be essential to the ExCAL program, collaborating with our existing integration team to develop top-tier integration solutions. This role will oversee the design, development, and implementation of robust integration solutions, ensuring they meet the program's and organization's requirements. The Lead Integration Engineer will work with platform teams, stakeholders from operating companies, corporate functions, and vendor system integration partners to achieve the project's objectives and outcomes. They will also apply established integration patterns and best practices, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for Oracle product integration.



Summary of Responsibilities:

Critical Responsibilities include:

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Partner with IT and program teams to understand and align with integration strategies and methods and plan their implementation.
Partner with system integration partners to effectively plan and lead the implementation of all integrations between platforms within ExCAL.
Lead Solution Architecture, Design, development, and test efforts for application integration projects, coordinating with other technical teams, to meet business requirements. Assist with development as needed.
Create, review, and approve detailed documentation for integration processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
Ensure the design of new application integrations works harmoniously with other existing integrations.
Present solution integration design to the Architecture Review Board, seek and incorporate feedback.
Partner with development teams to enhance and optimize integration solutions, driving continuous improvement, scalability, and sustainability.
Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for integration-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
Mentor and coach ExCAL integration team members on best practices in integration design and development, including the use of established integration patterns.
Manage the integration team building Boomi and OIC integrations, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability.
Offer guidance and best practices to broader technical teams, assisting in critical and time-sensitive situations.
Lead the creation of Knowledge Transfer documentation for handing over integrations to the Run team.
Stay updated on emerging integration technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our integration capabilities.



Skill Set Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in integration engineering roles.
Proficiency in middleware integration tools, specifically Boomi and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality integration solutions on time and within budget.
Be comfortable with Matrix reporting structure. This role would be reporting to the program leadership for program deliverables and would be reporting to the Integration Leader for technical standards, patterns, and directions.
Experience working in an onshore-offshore delivery model that spans time zones.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
