Music Teacher for Early Childhood Educational Center

The Music Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing an engaging and educational music program for children aged 1-5 years. This role involves creating interactive music lessons that incorporate singing, movement, and basic musical instruments, tailored to the developmental stages of early childhood. The ideal candidate will have a background in music education and a love for working with young children, bringing enthusiasm and creativity to our music program.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct music classes that are engaging, age-appropriate, and promote musical appreciation and skills.

Introduce children to a variety of musical styles, cultures, and instruments.

Encourage creative expression through music, movement, and instrument play.

Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into the broader curriculum at Children's Land.

Organize and lead musical performances and activities for families and the community.

Assess children's musical progress and provide feedback to parents and staff.

Maintain a positive, safe, and clean learning environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities related to early childhood music education.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.

Experience teaching music to young children in a classroom or group setting.

Proficiency in playing musical instruments and vocal ability.

Knowledge of early childhood development and how to tailor music lessons to meet these developmental stages.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage young children and collaborate with staff and parents.

Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for music and teaching.

CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
