Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Gages Lake, IL

Position Type: Remainder of the 2023-24 school year

Hours: 7:15 AM - 2:50 PM (flexible scheduling available)

Job Overview: AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and provide specialized support to students within our partnering school in Gages Lake, IL, for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year. The BCBA will play a crucial role in promoting positive behavior, fostering a supportive learning environment, and facilitating the academic and social success of students.

Responsibilities:

  1. Providing services to students ranging from EC-8th grade; supporting 4 buildings with 4 RBTs
  2. Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  3. Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs.
  4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a cohesive support system for students.
  5. Provide training and guidance to school staff on evidence-based behavior management strategies.
  6. Monitor and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make necessary adjustments.
  7. Conduct ongoing assessments to track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
  8. Collaborate with the school's multidisciplinary team to support a positive and inclusive school culture.
  9. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of behavioral goals and objectives.
  10. Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).

Qualifications:

  1. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  2. Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Program
  3. Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in K-12.
  4. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and methodologies.
