Position: Plant Management and Purchasing Assistant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and versatile individual to join our team as a Plant Management Purchasing Assistant. This role will primarily support plant management operations across our senior care communities, assist with procurement processes, and manage telecommunications transitions and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities to support our growing network of communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Management Support:

  • Assist the plant management team with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities across multiple senior care communities.
  • Coordinate routine inspections and ensure that preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Collaborate with facility managers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and resolve any facility-related issues promptly.

Purchasing Support:

  • Assist in the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services necessary for the operations of our senior care communities.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with placing orders as needed.
  • Track and manage purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.

Telecommunications Management:

  • Oversee the transition and management of telecommunications systems for our communities.
  • Work with service providers to coordinate the installation, maintenance, and upgrades of telecommunication services.
  • Serve as the point of contact for troubleshooting telecommunication issues and coordinating resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, facilities management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in facility management, purchasing, or telecommunications (experience in senior care is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing/inventory management software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
