**Job Description:**
- Compile health information by reviewing, cataloging, and checking medical reports for completeness.
- Organize medical reports for filing and ensure all necessary reports and signatures are present in charts.
- Prepare charts for new admissions and fill out necessary forms and requests for specific reports or certificates.
- Compile and type statistical reports such as daily and monthly census data, admissions, discharges, and lengths of stay.
- File reports into health information records and maintain accurate logs and filing systems.
- Provide information from health records, ensuring the appropriateness of the request is determined.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding health information records procedures.

**Special Requirements:**
- Orientation attendance is required on a scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 8:30 AM until approximately noon.
- Personal electronic devices such as cell phones or smartwatches are not permitted in the institution.
- Required items must be brought in a clear plastic bag.
