Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician is accountable for performing delegated tasks and assisting nursing personnel on the hospital floor in patient care delivery as well as functioning within the Emergency Unit.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Medical terminology course or knowledge preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Must be 16 years of age.
  • BLS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
  • MN CNA and CPI certification required within 6 months of hire.

Work Schedule

This is a temporary position to begin immediately for approximately 2-3 months.

  • Varied Shifts: weekends and holidays as needed; 72 hours every 2 weeks
    • Three 12-hour shifts per week

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $18.25 - $24.00 per hour
