LPN OPENING IN POUGHKEEPSIE, NY

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours:

* Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
* Wednesday, Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our internal medicine practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support physicians, and ensure smooth clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor patient health and record vital signs.
* Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
* Provide patient education and support.
* Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
* Perform routine laboratory tests and sample collections.
* Manage patient appointments and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

* Valid LPN license in New York State.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LPN.
* Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health records system.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
