Overview

We are currently seeking a Tax Associate in our Private Client Group in our Boston or Woburn office. To qualify for this position, you should:

Essential Duties

* Become familiar with the firm's policies and procedures
* Understand the rules, regulations and code of conduct of the AICPA
* Be adept at utilizing various tax software as well as Adobe and Excel
* Demonstrate the ability to research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters
* Demonstrate the ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management in both written and verbal form
* Demonstrate self-motivation and take responsibility for personal growth and development
* Work toward obtaining your CPA certification
* Be permanently authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

* Be working toward and/or have a college degree in accounting
* Have previous tax experience or interest in working in the areas of individual, trust, estate, gift and foundation tax
* Have strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
* Have the ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
* Practice strong time management and organizational skills
* Be detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work independently
* Be energetic with a positive attitude
