The Role

The facility maintenance technician plays a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of the facility's infrastructure, equipment, and systems. They are responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance activities specific to a pharmaceutical setting, adhering to strict regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Here's What You'll Do

* Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs, potential issues, and develop preventive maintenance plans.


* Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.


* Troubleshoot complex problems with facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure, and provide technical expertise to resolve issues.


* Oversee and perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.


* Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.


* Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to optimize the performance and lifespan of facility systems.


* Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability when needed.


* Train and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills.


* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.


* Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time



Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:

* High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training is preferred.


* Military training equivalent of above is acceptable.


* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.


* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to team members and stakeholders.


* Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.


* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting facility's infrastructure


* PREFERRED SKILLS - In-depth knowledge of various facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
