The International Financial and Regulatory Compliance Intern will work directly with the International Compliance and Program Finance teams, assisting them with regulatory and financial compliance activities and oversight related to AIR's International Development Division.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for the position include:

* Supporting the International Financial and Regulatory Compliance team with the population of a database designed to house key international financial and compliance information across countries.
* Conducting ad-hoc research, review, and writing related to key international financial and regulatory subject matter.
* Assisting with scheduling and coordination of partner meetings.
* Assist international office accounting teams by providing general support for projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.
* Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time based on institutional needs.
* Supporting the monitoring, forecasting, and reporting of the financial performance of project and Division direct and indirect initiatives, budgets/targets, including but not limited to those for revenue, components of revenue, profit/fee, labor utilization, indirect costs, equity initiative costs, backlog, receivables, and unbilled receivables.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

* Must be a current student (for the duration of the internship) enrolled in a master's degree program in finance, economics, international development, public policy, or other social science-related fields.
* Demonstrated interest in the field of International Development or non-profit finance, operations, compliance, and/or administration.

Skills:

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds
* Strong communication, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in using standard Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate efficiently in a virtual work environment
* Fluent English speaker

Disclosures:
