Seasonal Labor Scheduler

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

* Create and edit schedules up to 3 weeks in advance to meet the daily needs of the Resort.
* Actively monitor projected and budgeted attendance and adjust schedule based on high/low demand days.
* Review and approve time off requests, availability changes and shift swaps.
* Work directly with team members' availability/ scheduling conflicts.
* Communicate often and frequently with department leadership regarding staffing levels.
* Assist with the onboarding of new team members by scheduling department trainings, and ensuring trainer availability.
* Ensure J1s are being scheduled for a minimum 32 hours a week and H2Bs a minimum of 35 hours each week. Communicate with leadership when team members are not hitting their required hours.
* Work with the supervisors to ensure adequate staffing levels for work crew shifts.
* Update and maintain a list of team members who are no longer showing up to assigned shifts.
* Monitor 2-week notices/ immediate notices/ leave of absences and ensure team members are not scheduled past their last working day.
* Assist department leadership with approving/ correcting timesheets.
* Work with supervisors to ensure team members are coded under the correct home location for compliance.
* Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

* A valid State Driver's License and be at least 18 years of age
* High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
* Leadership experience in theme park operations - preferred
* Experience within Six Flags, required.
* Strong communication, organizational, analytical and time management skills.
* Must be positive, creative, outgoing, detail oriented, self-motivated and lead by example.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft applications, similar reporting tools and able to maintain written records.

OTHER NOTES:

* All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
