STRIVE Boston program is a workforce readiness program that provides job skills training and job placement program that focuses on workplace readiness, occupational skills, attitudinal training, job placement and job retention. Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours a week
JRI Provides The Training So That:
- YOU will provide primary administrative support to the Administrative Team, program staff &STRIVE Boston initiatives. Mail handling, faxes and telephone calls, tracking food and gift cards, transportation vouchers, etc..
- YOU will be responsible for data entry and doing intakes for clients coming into our program.
- YOU will oversee maintenance of office equipment and supplies; order as needed.
- YOU will prepare and maintain accounts payable records, including fi ling and tracking invoices.
- YOU will resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
- YOU will prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails.
- YOU will schedule travel arrangements for STRIVE staff for annual gatherings.
- YOU will provide program participants with support surrounding resources, guidance with navigating applying for our programs, provide intake documents and ensure applications are completed.
- YOU will document up to date relevant client information and outcomes in the Apricot database system.
- YOU will monitor participants during the follow-up period to track the outcomes of services provided.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Applicant should be detail oriented and have exceptional organizational and communication, and relational skills.
- Candidates with experience in health or human services are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook is required.
- Candidates must have the ability to use independent judgment and discretion and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Bilingual candidates (English/Haitian Creole or Spanish) are preferred.
- Applicant must have an active driver's license and ability to be at work on time with some potential travel to corporate sites on an annual or quarterly basis required
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
