PRN Behavioral Health Technician

Purpose:
The Behavioral Health Technician will support and complement client's recovery and ongoing treatment goals. You will report to the Nursing Director.
Job Summary:
To provide direct support to clients in an integrated behavioral health program located in a community mental health center.
Essential Functions:
* Manage data entry, tracking, and scheduling to support disease management and a stepped care approach
* Obtain and record client vital signs and report client history summary
* Participate and support the Behavioral Health Home care model and work with providers to monitor health and follow-up of clients
* Provide case management support to clients for wellness services and basic needs
* Dispense medications and maintain Medication Administration Records
* Refer internally for case management support for wellness services and basic needs
* Outreaches to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and other healthcare providers
* Obtain and verify client financial and demographic information and ensure client data is entered into the electronic health record
* Other responsibilities as assigned as this list is not all inclusive
