About the Role

Boulder Community Health is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Implement delegated aspects of patient treatment plans, working closely with clinicians to ensure effective care.
  • Participate in therapeutic groups and individual activities, promoting patient engagement and well-being.
  • Assist with patient transportation and maintain patient safety during off-site therapeutic settings.
  • Document patient progress and interactions in the Electronic Health Record.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • BLS certification and de-escalation training required within the conditional period.
  • Wilderness First Aide certification required within 6 months for techs working in nature-based programs.
  • One year of experience in an inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric facility preferred.
