Fire Sprinkler Sales and Estimator

Responsibilities:
* Estimate and negotiate new contracts.
* Work with design and field teams to execute projects.
* Review contract documents and drawings.
* Communicate project changes and progress.
* Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and reviewing your findings with the appropriate customer personnel.
* Prepare and present effective proposals that offer solutions to customers.
* Submit bids and budgets before deadlines or otherwise in a timely manner.
* Attend pre-bid meetings, site tours, and post-bid interviews as required.
Qualifications:
* Must have experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and logistics plans in the context of estimating fire sprinkler system installation or a very closely related mechanical discipline.
* Must have a basic understanding of fire sprinkler design and layout.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
* Able to work both independently as well as in a team environment.
* Works well in group problem-solving situations.
* Contributes to a positive team environment and puts success of the team above own interests.
* Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
* Accepts responsibility for own actions.
* Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Applies feedback to improve performance.
* Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
