Mental Health Worker / Therapist

Health Sciences High and Middle College is a Charter High School School located in City Heights San Diego, CA serving students in grades 9-12.

Job Purpose:

To support students with their mental, academic, social, and emotional needs. The Mental Health Worker/Therapist will support the school culture including promoting mental wellness and healthy relationships.

Education-Based Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; and
Master's Degree Mental Health related field; and
Personnel Pupil Services Credential (recommended); and
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health/therapy work; and
CPR Certification

Knowledge, Skills, Ability: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with students, families, administrators, general educators, educational specialists, and support staff.
