Overview:

Performs mammography examinations, diagnostic studies, and needle localizations. Evaluates radiographs for diagnostic quality and obtains additional images as needed.

Job Responsbilites:

* Patient & Room Preparation: This task includes entering/verfiying patient data into PACS and other appropriate computer systems as necessary.
* Obtain Mammographic analog/digital images as well as other images.
* Conduct labeling of all mammographic/radiographic images
* Maintain all necessary records etc. logging patient data in log book and perform tasks relasted to MQSA
* Assist physician during biopsy procedures as needed

Education/Training Requirements:

* Assocaites Degree (Preferred) / High School Diploma/ GED ( Required)
* Satisfactory completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and meets the requirements for certification by the ARRT
* Licensed by the State of New York
