Role Responsibilities:

The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for conducting mammography examinations and diagnostic imaging procedures. This includes:

  • Preparing patients and examination rooms, ensuring accurate data entry into PACS and other systems.
  • Acquiring high-quality mammographic images and performing additional imaging as necessary.
  • Labeling all mammographic and radiographic images accurately.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records, including patient data logs, in compliance with MQSA regulations.
  • Assisting physicians during biopsy procedures when required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in a relevant field / Required: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and certification eligibility with the ARRT.
  • Must hold a valid license issued by the State of New York.

Department: Radiology Bargaining Unit: 1199 Employment Status: Regular Full-Time
