A DAY IN THE ROLE OF AN HVAC SALES TECHNICIAN
As an HVAC Sales Technician, your day begins with engaging clients and providing tailored solutions for their home comfort needs. You will conduct thorough home comfort assessments, analyze requirements, and perform load calculations to recommend suitable products, clearly articulating their benefits.
Your responsibilities include managing financing options, documenting rebates and tax credits, and handling invoicing after performing necessary calculations for HVAC work. You will take photographs of existing setups to accurately list required equipment and materials. Enjoy the variety of meeting new clients and working in different locations, ensuring each day presents new challenges.
Whether arranging temporary heating and cooling solutions or communicating warranties and guarantees, you will take pride in enhancing the comfort of homes at fair prices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HVAC technician
- At least 3 years of sales experience
- Proficient in using tablet-based dispatch and sales software
- Strong understanding of job costing and pricing
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience in the HVAC industry is advantageous. If you possess managerial experience, that would be a bonus.
