Position Overview

Montefiore Medical Center is in search of a dedicated Mammography Technologist.

Job Responsibilities
  • Patient Preparation: Responsible for entering and verifying patient information in PACS and relevant computer systems.
  • Image Acquisition: Capture both analog and digital mammographic images, along with additional necessary images.
  • Image Management: Ensure proper labeling of all mammographic and radiographic images.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, logging patient data, and fulfilling tasks related to MQSA compliance.
  • Assistance in Procedures: Support physicians during biopsy procedures as required.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certification: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and eligibility for ARRT certification.
  • Licensure: Must be licensed by the State of New York.

Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Compensation

Salary Range: $49.48 per hour
