JOB DESCRIPTION

The Internal Legal Specialist (Garnishments) is responsible for assisting the team and partner network in managing daily operations. This position includes the monitoring of automated and manual processes to ensure the proper handling of outsourced accounts, as well as the participation in projects / analysis as needed and provide and communicate performance, initiative, and / or process results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Read, validate, and process legal documents. Review account level details and complete tasks for accounts in the Legal Channel. Ensure accuracy/efficiency and take steps to resolve discrepancies. 60%

Provides regular tracking and reporting on adherence to daily processes and / or financial performance. 15%

Partner with operations leadership, team members, paralegals, and attorneys to meet monthly production goals. 15%

Oversees and makes suggestions for improvements to daily automated and manual processes. 5%

Perform other duties, as assigned. 5%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 Years customer service or clerical experience

Legal Collections experience (preferred)
