ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN, MN)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will work closely with Procurement leaders to ensure issues are promptly resolved and own key financial, reporting, compliance, and contracting deliverables, as well as document processes and contribute to process improvement.

Performs broad range of procurement support functions, which will be evolving over the next year as technology solutions are implemented.

Current work includes:

* Supplier financial setup (ACH/wire),
* Execute on core procurement projects, including Diverse/small business certifications.
* SQM (quality reporting), which is being transformed with new technology.
* Diverse/small business government reporting.
* Troubleshooting and proactively solve issues in support of overall procurement.
* Oversee Corporate procurement contract log and provide supplier follow-up on monthly basis.
* Trouble shoot and solve adhoc employee and supplier issues ranging from payments, missed checks, leave of absences, timecard, etc. Leverage Oracle in support of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process and ability to troubleshoot exceptions/issues across a broad range of areas.
* Will document core business processes and suggest areas of improvement for consideration.
* Less than 1% of time on standard administrative tasks (meeting and calendar management)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

* Quick learner and nimble with skills to be an early adopter for new technology platforms.
* Positively embrace, learn, and adapt to new ways of working across procurement and plant purchasing team.
* Oracle Cloud system knowledge and ability to learn new system capabilities.
* Proficient in the Windows environment including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive and productive relationships.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with both internal and external contacts.
