Description

Join a multidisciplinary marketing team at a dynamic, woman-owned, transportation and logistics leader based in McDonough, GA. We are actively seeking a responsible individual to perform a variety of tasks for a busy Marketing department. This position is a unique opportunity to directly support VP of Marketing and Director of Marketing, while providing customer service for the department, and task-support to a team of creatives. Ideal candidates for this position must have exceptional skills in administrative assistance, writing and speaking, and organization. If you are a multi-tasker and have an interest in supporting the creative/design fields, this position offers a great opportunity. This position provides assistance and reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

Job Duties

* Provide administrative tasks including invoice processing, submitting and reconciling expense reports, organizing and scheduling appointments, and updating and maintaining office policies and procedures
* Support the VP of marketing with expense reporting
* Provide customer support to visitors to the Department
* Provide oversight of managing supplies, and promotional item ordering while researching new deals and suppliers
* Manage all customer service requests for promotional items and other inquiries upon request
* Assist with oversight of Bennett Gear Company Apparel Store, including website maintenance, customer support and invoicing/chargebacks
* Assist with departmental programs such as President's Million Mile Club and Women In The Driver's Seat including driver on-boarding, termination, recognition plaques, maintenance and reporting of third-party catalog vendors, quarterly meetings, and special events coordination
* Provide oversight for organizing and scheduling appointments for the Department
* Provide oversight for organizing and trade shows with registration, promotional item ordering, and booth coordination for the Company
* Experience with event coordination and logistics a plus

Qualifications

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years of experience in an Executive Assistant role.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be highly able to work independently and efficiently on multiple projects to meet deadlines.
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Experience in a B2B marketing department or PR agency a plus.
