Job Description:
+ Support Chemistry, Hematology Blood Bank and Microbiology benches. (Rotate benches each shift)
+ Review peripheral smears and identify normal and abnormal cells.
+ Gram stain review.
+ Complete blood culture identifications and PCR testing.
+ Check quality control, maintain machines and instruments in laboratory, troubleshoot, call critical samples and complete the pending log in a timely manner.
+ Work in a high volume hospital core laboratory.
Skills and Qualifications:
+ BS in Medical Laboratory Science
+ Core lab and Blood Bank experience
