  • Supervise and assist with client care, adhering to standards of care.
  • Promote positive relationships between nursing staff, home health aides, physicians, and other agencies.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate medical treatment, including CPR.
  • Ensure compliance with Accreditation Organizations and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
  • Operate office equipment such as a computer, copier, telephone, and calculator.
  • Maintain a vehicle for work purposes with required insurance coverage.
  • Travel as required.
Qualifications:


Required Experience:


  • Two years of pediatric nursing experience.
  • One to two years of home care experience preferred.
  • Ability to ambulate, position, and transfer clients.
License/Certifications:


  • LPN licensee (District of Columbia)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
