The Wire Support Specialist will assist the Deposit Operations Manager, Director of Digital Banking, Cash Management Support Officer, and the Wire Department for internal and external clients regarding these services.

Reports To: Deposit Operations Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Service

* Ability to deal effectively with client questions or concerns.
* Knows the Bank's products and services thoroughly.
* Continuously demonstrates a helpful, friendly attitude and is committed to providing excellent client service.
* Serves as a model of excellent customer service to other employees.
* Handles client complaints or questions and refers them to the appropriate party to remedy the situation.

Wire Department Support

* Provide timely response to all client inquiries.
* Assist Mortgage, Commercial, Finance and Retail Divisions on Wire Inquiries
* Process Incoming/Outgoing Wires from the Federal Reserve
* Process Outgoing Wires from External and Internal Clients
* Process Outgoing Cash Management Online Banking Wires
* Other duties that may be assigned by Management.

Security

* Adheres to all bank policies and procedures and to internal controls and system access restrictions.
* Maintains neat and orderly work area and ensures that all negotiables and confidential records are properly secured.
* Understands role in case of robbery, whether victim or bystander, and knows proper post-robbery procedures.
* Presents professional appearance that evokes the client's trust.

CRITICAL SKILLS

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department co-workers and employees and officers in other departments.
* Self-Development: pursue additional education or training to remain current, improve knowledge, and diversify skills.
* Client confidentiality - never reveals or divulges client information to anyone outside of the bank.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

At least 1-3 years of wire support experience, including a good knowledge base of the following: processing of Retail, Mortgage and Cash Management Online Banking wires, and account balances and funds availability.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

* Position requires a person with a pleasant and professional personality who has excellent customer service skills, has good organizational skills, and has good time management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, detail-oriented department.
