The Medical Imaging team is hiring a Technical Assistant#to work# 9:00am - 5:00pm, 5:00pm - 9:00pm with weekends, holidays and other shifts assigned w/ weekends, holidays, on-call and other shifts assigned # Pay Range: $15.25-28.04/hour#Based on verified education and experience# Technical Assistant #responsibilities include: Professionally greets/directs patients and efficiently serves as liaison between reception and technical control area. Prepares materials and equipment prior to procedures and ensures rooms and equipment are cleaned and restocked in a timely manner. Accurately enters patient information into department computer system. Processes films and routinely loads and unloads cassettes, ensuring films are accurately identified. Updates film boards when films become available in the department.# Proactively obtains outside films prior to patient arrival. Monitors and routinely verifies available supplies, equipment and linen required for procedures and replenishes as needed. Removes films from film boards and files in master jackets upon case review completion. Assists in patient scheduling and ensures timely transport of patient films/records to other departments for interpretation. Education and Experience

* High School Diploma/ GED
* 6 months of Medical Imaging experience, preferred
