Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Under the supervision of the Associate Director, with a wide latitude for the exercise of independent initiative performs computer and clerical related activities, which contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of administrative services in the Hospital Police Department. Responsible for assisting with monthly reporting of HHC Hospital Police statistics to ensure that department data is accurate and within compliance.

Office Operations - Watch Persons and Special Officers
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Associate Director in administrative tasks.
- Generate weekly, monthly and annual reports of Hospital Police statistics for reporting to Central Office. Ensures that data received from Hospital Police Command is accurate.
- Generate Infant Abduction Security ("Code Pink") reports monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Schedule prospective Watch Person departmental interviews and review required paperwork needed for interview.
- Demonstrate basic skills in computer application such as Microsoft Office, and other programs.
- Prepare Parking Violations and Criminal Summons to be delivered to Citywide Summons.
- Ensure Hospital Police staff roster and contact information database is up-to-date.
- Assist Investigation Unit in administrative tasks.
- Generate weekly paper timesheets for Hospital Police staff.
- Maintain daily Vehicle Inspection sheets.
- Answer & direct telephone calls and messages. Receive, sort and distribute incoming mails.
- Extreme attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
1. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and
2. Six (6) months of full-time satisfactory clerical experience and/or experience interacting with the public, such as processing sales; taking, processing, and delivering orders; obtaining and dispensing information; listening to and resolving customers concerns, problems, and complaints; and/or performing related customer service activities.
