This role requires a leader who can maintain the highest standards of service excellence, oversee all aspects of hotel management and ensure that our brand values and vision are reflected consistently.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided
* Manage and lead the team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration and excellence
* Develop and implement operational strategies and policies that align with the Hotel June West L.A.'s goals
* Maintain strong relationships with guests, handle guest issues efficiently and exceed guest satisfaction goals
* Control budgets and financial plans to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted
* Stay current with trends in the hotel industry and local market to steer activities that bolster the hotel's performance. -
* Collaborate with marketing to drive occupancy rates and promote our hotel's unique attributes
* Manage contracts and negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
* Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data-driven economic principles
* Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate and lead a team
* Superior problem solving and decision-making skills
* Strong communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
* Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred
