Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) seeks a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Professional to join our dynamic team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in designing curriculum and collaborating with our Child & Family team to ensure youth clients receive well-rounded care that leads to a higher level of functioning and greater independence. Primary Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality clinical SUD treatment, including ASAM assessments, placements, and appropriate levels of group, individual, and family treatment.
* Offer SUD prevention intervention services based on program participants' needs.
* Collaborate with other providers to deliver clinical interventions and referrals, ensuring clients meet treatment and level-of-care needs.
* Develop practical, relevant, and culturally competent treatment plans and interventions that are patient-centered and age-appropriate.
* Provide direct services to individuals using substances, incorporating recommended treatment practices such as individual and family therapy, group therapy, psycho-educational workshops, recovery skill-building groups, and crisis intervention.
* Develop written treatment plans with integrated interventions, emphasizing substance use disorder treatment across the health continuum.
* Utilize motivational interviewing, stages of change theory, harm reduction, and other behavioral interventions as clinically indicated.
* Demonstrate a working knowledge of co-occurring disorders and medications used in the treatment of SUD (MAT).
* Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with an emphasis on maintaining professional boundaries.
* Provide crisis intervention services and monitor compliance with court-ordered requirements.
* Document all clinical services thoroughly and accurately, ensuring timely submission per agency policy and contractual/WAC requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Associate's Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field

EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)

This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and have reliable, insured transportation.

LICENSURE: Current licensure as a Substance Use Disorder Professional.

Preferred Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field.

EXPERIENCE: Experience working with clients with co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
