Job Title: Infant Teacher

First Class Learning Ministry is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our daycare center team. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for providing attentive and loving care to infants aged six weeks to twelve months. Your primary goal will be to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where infants can thrive and develop.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate and individualized care to infants, meeting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

2. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters trust and comfort for both infants and their families.

3. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote sensory exploration, motor development, and social interaction.

4. Follow established routines for feeding, diapering, napping, and playtime, ensuring consistency and predictability for infants.

5. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

6. Observe and document each infant's progress and milestones, communicating regularly with parents and caregivers.

7. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff members to support the overall operation of the daycare center and maintain a positive team dynamic.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in early childhood education preferred.

2. Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting, daycare center, or similar environment.

3. Understanding of infant development milestones and best practices in early childhood care and education.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with infants, parents, and colleagues.

5. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.

6. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

7. Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements for childcare providers.
