JOB DESCRIPTIONS

As the Director of Client Acquisition, you will spearhead our firm's efforts to expand our client base and drive revenue growth. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will develop and implement strategic initiatives to identify, engage, and secure new clients across diverse industries. This pivotal role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building prowess, and a deep understanding of the accounting and financial services landscape.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THIS POSITION MAY INCLUDE

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive client acquisition strategy aligned with the firm's growth objectives, leveraging market insights and industry trends to identify new business opportunities. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and prioritize target markets and industries for client acquisition, utilizing various channels such as networking, referrals, digital marketing, and industry events to generate leads and opportunities. Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with prospects, key decision-makers, and influencers through tailored communication and engagement initiatives, including presentations, proposals, and thought leadership content. Proposal Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts and service teams to craft compelling proposals and solutions that address the unique needs and challenges of prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of Berkowitz Pollack Brant. Pipeline Management: Manage the client acquisition pipeline effectively, tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing strategies to accelerate the conversion of leads into clients. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry developments, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in client acquisition strategies. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including partners, practice leaders, marketing, and business development teams, to align client acquisition efforts with broader firm objectives and priorities. Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of client acquisition initiatives, regularly reporting on progress and outcomes to senior leadership.

What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, client acquisition, or sales leadership roles within the professional services or financial industry.
  • Deep understanding of accounting and financial services, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-making, and negotiate effectively.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
