Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Accountant to join our team. The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our real estate development projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting project managers with financial insights and analysis.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of multiple real estate development projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Cost Tracking: Monitor and track project costs, ensuring all expenses are recorded accurately and within budget.
  • Invoice Processing: Review and process invoices from contractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contract terms and company policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to project managers and senior management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts, providing financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies, including internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance team, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation for all projects.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in real estate development or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
