Job Title: Patient Care Technician (Dialysis)
Contract Duration: 12- 13 weeks
Pay range: $30 - 31/hr
Work Type: Onsite, Day shift
Job Description:
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Join our team as a Patient Care Technician (Dialysis). We're seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to provide essential patient care in a fast-paced dialysis environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Accurately document patient treatment information.
- Assist with pre and post-dialysis patient assessments and documentation.
- Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
- Report significant changes in patient condition to supervisors.
- Assist with emergency operational procedures.
- Initiate basic CPR measures during cardiac or pulmonary arrest.
- Respond to emergency situations related to dialysis treatment.
Qualifications:
- Must-haves:
- Dialysis, nephrology, or hemodialysis experience
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Preferred:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
