An electronic manufacturing company is seeking a contract Payroll Administrator. This position is fully on-site in their Thousand Oaks, CA office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $38 per hour.

Job Description:
  • Responsible for managing bi-weekly, multistate payrolls for 2,000+ employees
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
  • Accurately incorporates payroll variables into payments.
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing of exception payroll items, including new hires, terminations, rate changes and stock option exercises
  • Responsible for the accuracy of payroll output, including pay statements, statements of payroll tax deposits, UI reporting and ad hoc reports
  • Performs bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll closing tasks

Requirements:
  • ADP Enterprise experience
  • Solid organizational and mathematical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to interact with employees at all levels, including upper management
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years' payroll experience
