Overview

Success awaits a hands-on, personable, motivated, and professional Concierge to join our team. Our Concierge is organized, responsible and has a genuine desire to create unique and memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

* Providing information about the hotel's amenities, services, and policies.
* Handling guest requests, such as booking transportation, making restaurant reservations, or arranging tours and activities.
* Offering recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, entertainment, and other points of interest.
* Providing directions and maps to help guests navigate the area.
* Offering insider knowledge about the city or region to enhance the guest experience.
* Making reservations for guests at restaurants, theaters, spa services, or any other requested venues.
* Booking transportation services, including taxis, limousines, or rental cars.
* Assisting with arranging special occasions, such as anniversary celebrations or surprise gifts for guests.
* Addressing guest concerns and resolving any issues or complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Keeping records of guest requests, reservations, and interactions.
* Managing a database of local service providers and contact information.
* Assisting with shipping lost items or helping guests retrieve belongings left behind.
* Serving as a central point of contact for guests, offering assistance, information, and support throughout their stay.
* Collaborating with other hotel departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, and room service, to meet guest needs.
* Building relationships with repeat guests to provide personalized service and anticipate their needs.
* Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.
* Attend all hotel required meetings and training.

Skills

* Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of Colleagues and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
* Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by guests.
* Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
* Proactive approach to problem resolution, including: anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as needed. Contribute to short term and long-term problem solving.
* Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming.
* Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest information.

Qualifications

* Minimum of (2) years' Concierge in a hotel.
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Working knowledge of office software, PMS, and phone systems.
* Flexibility with schedule, based on business demands.
* Capacity to carry out minimum travel as needed.
* Many concierges are fluent in multiple languages to assist international travelers (preferred but not necessary).
* Comply with Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
