This position will require travel to sister locations at: Lockport, Frankfort, Crest Hill, and Yorkville.

Schedule:

Monday & Tuesday: 9:00am-6:00pm
Wednesday: 9:00am-3:00pm
Thursday: 7:00am-4:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-3:00pm

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
Take and process dental X-rays, ensuring patient safety and accurate diagnostic outcomes
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, anticipating the dentist's needs and ensuring patient comfort
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Ensure a clean and organized treatment environment, restocking supplies, and equipment as necessary

Requirements:
1 year of experience as a dental assistant required
1 year of orthodontic experience is required
Coronal polishing is preferred
Familiarity with Dentrix, or other dental software systems preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
