Our client, a leading Pacific Northwest utility provider committed to public service and environmental preservation, is looking for a Project Manager for their Redmond, Oregon location. This position will lead important process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing asset management capabilities within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various teams, stakeholders, and executives to ensure the successful planning and coordination of projects. The Project Manager will oversee efforts related to asset management, quality control, and operational efficiency, driving improvements that align with the organization's broader goals and objectives. *Pay Range: *$70.50 – 78.50, DOE
*Location: *Telework Eligible

*Key Responsibilities for Senior Project Manager:*
* Manage and support assigned projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners.
* Facilitate the development of business processes and data requirements for asset management, coordinating initiatives to meet project goals.
* Draft business cases for asset management and reliability enhancements, securing necessary approvals.
* Provide insights and recommendations for budgeting, planning cycles, and asset management strategies.
* Coordinate complex initiatives, ensuring alignment with project milestones, deliverables, and objectives.
* Support the development of clear project visions, problem statements, and improvement roadmaps.
* Identify performance gaps, propose corrective actions, and manage organizational change.
* Create and manage project plans, resource strategies, and track progress against milestones.
* Facilitate communication among project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.
* Lead risk management, issue tracking, and contingency planning efforts.
* Collaborate with external stakeholders and manage project transitions, ensuring smooth handover and continuity.
* Provide technical input and facilitate decision-making sessions with key stakeholders and management

*Requirements for Senior Project Manager:*
* A bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Organizational Development (or directly related field)
* With an applicable bachelor’s degree, 10 years of experience is required.
* With a non-applicable bachelor’s degree, 12 years of experience is required.
* Without a degree, 14 years of experience is required.
* Experience should include direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
* Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
* Project management experience in the electric utility sector with an emphasis on transmission assets is preferred.
* PMI or PMP certification is preferred.
* Experience in Asset Management and Resource planning is preferred.
* Experience and background in defining, evaluating, and recommending plans for asset management capabilities is preferred.
* Familiarity with systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking is preferred.
