As part of our continued growth and commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of Comfort Keepers, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients. This leadership role involves managing a team of nurses, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing compassionate care to seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring that all clients receive high-quality, personalized care.

· Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for clients in collaboration with healthcare professionals.

· Supervise and support the caregiving team, providing ongoing training and professional development.

· Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

· Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain the highest standards of care.

· Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

· Act as a liaison between clients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and improve care outcomes.

· Stay current with the latest healthcare trends and best practices to continuously improve our services.

Qualifications:

· Current RN license in Virginia, in good standing.

· Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

· Experience in senior care or home health care is highly desirable.

· Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

· Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing exceptional care.
