We pride ourselves on thinking big, delivering exceptional results for our customers, and working across AWS as #OneTeam.This role includes up to 30% travel.Key job responsibilitiesThe team is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for our supporting customers as they build on our Neuron hardware, Trainuim and Inferentia. As a Neuron Performance Solution Architect (SA), you will work with customers globally, partner closely with the engineering, business development, and technical field teams to drive the adoption of AWS EC2 neuron-based instances. The EC2 Neuron Performance SA will develop white papers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations to enable customers and partners to understand and leverage the value of EC2. The EC2 Neuron Performance SA will also help drive enablement initiatives to continually develop the best technical field teams in the industry.About the teamThe AWS EC2 Performance team was created to make sure customers can deploy the best, most scalable, and most performant architectures possible. You may also reach them directly by visiting please https://www.amazon.jobs/en/disability/us.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications- 5+ Years experience analyzing and interpreting performance metrics and logs- 3+ Years of Data Processing and cleaning including the handling of large datasets, addressing encoding issues, and transforming raw data into suitable formats for LLMs.- 3+ Years of experience with LLMs (including training) and Prompt Engineering or equivalent.- 3+ Years experience presenting to senior leadership within a customer or partner organization.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.- Understand and evaluate metrics for accuracy, fluency, coherence, and task-specific evaluations.- Proficiency with writing and debugging application's developed in Python, TensorFlow, or JAX and as well as an understanding networking concepts and protocols- Technical leadership, including the ability to understand the customer IT landscape, identify opportunities and overcome any technical obstacles, ultimately influencing the adoption of AWS platform in conjunction with business requirements.- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise- Computer Science /relevant degree and/or experience highly desiredAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
