The Assistant Building Engineer is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art corporate campus. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of facilities or commercial construction experience that is eager to learn and likes to get the job done right Your knowledge and skills will be tested and developed working on carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC projects across over 2 Million square feet of commercial office space.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Maintaining and monitoring building automation system
  • Doing carpentry and painting in and around the facility
  • Performing minor maintenance and logs tasks
  • Providing courteous, high quality service to team members by personally responding to requests for service
  • Providing any needed assistance to customers, team members and visitors
  • Responding to emergency situations including participation in the on-call rotation
  • Monday through Friday hours, however, may be required to work nights, days, holidays and weekends
  • Meeting the physical requirements of the job and the ability to work in the environmental conditions listed below to perform common assistant engineer functions and duties
  • Performing all duties in a safe manner, following all safety procedures
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing preferred.

  • Relevant certifications or Trade School diploma for HVAC (Universal 608) preferred

  • Knowledgeable use of tools of the trade required

  • Meet all legal requirements to be able to work in the United States

    Must demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards

  • Maintaining and monitoring building automation system

  • Doing carpentry and painting in and around the facility

  • Performing minor maintenance and logs tasks

  • Providing courteous, high quality service to team members by personally responding to requests for service

  • Providing any needed assistance to customers, team members and visitors
