Summary

Regional Directors are the daily operators of their assigned territories, responsible for all aspects of the ethical and evidence-based delivery of behavior analytic services to clients in accordance with the organizations clinical quality, operational and strategic goals. Regional Directors are responsible for ensuring that all clinics operate using standardized procedures and will collaborate to reduce variation across TAC locations. Regional Directors are responsible for supporting, mentoring, coaching and providing feedback to assigned Site Directors (and BCBAs) of their dedicated sites, as well as providing support and direction for most daily needs or issues. Regional Directors do not support client cases directly but may provide consultation or case support for clients within their designated territories, however there may be instances in which small caseloads are carried and maintained.

What You Will Do:

  • In collaboration with Site Directors, the Regional Director ensures safety of the sites in their assigned geographies via site observations (at least quarterly), ensuring that the site is following all practices and procedures related to allergies and medications, and that the site is knowledgeable and equipped to handle any emergency situations.
  • In accordance with TACs core values, policies and procedures, act as a role model for all regional employees and parents/guardians, as well as uphold these expectations for all employees via feedback, mentoring, and coaching.
    • Provide feedback, as necessary, for employees if behavior is not in accordance with expectations and positive reinforcement for consistent demonstration.
  • Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and support to the regions Site Directors formally, via performance evaluations, and also informally, as needed. The Regional Director will meet with their direct reports at least bi-weekly for experienced, high performing sites and weekly for new or low performing sites.
  • Handle sensitive employee relation issues with integrity, either individually or with the assistance of Human Resources
  • As the point person for Site Director training, the Regional Director will ensure that their supervisees have met all training requirements, have demonstrated competency, and that skill gaps are identified and addressed.
  • Ensure the prosperity of assigned territory, which includes but is not limited to: (Directly or oversight of Site Director(s
    • Understanding and meeting organizational goals and key site metrics
  • Diligently monitoring the key site metrics each week (alongside the Site Directors)
  • Following up quickly if there are concerning trends or data points with key metrics
  • Using standard operating procedures to have a positive influence on key metrics
  • Collaborating with other TAC leadership to understand best practices that influence metrics
  • Ensuring that all therapy is being provided under an active authorization and that all assessments and re-assessments are submitted in a timely manner
  • Approve and monitor credit card spending
  • As necessary, act as an organizational liaison for parents who have questions or concerns beyond the Site Directors scope. Work quickly to resolve any parent concerns or respond to questions.
  • Complete all required documentation per organizational expectations and timelines (e.g., requisition forms, reimbursement forms, SharePoint documents, etc.)
  • Participate in the hiring process for regional positions, which includes but is not limited to:
    • Collaborating with Recruiting and Senior Director to quickly screen potential candidates
    • Arranging schedule to quickly meet and interview candidates
    • Participating in candidate debriefing
    • Creating offer recommendations aligned with position salary ranges
    • Collaborating with Human Resources to complete offers and onboard employees
  • Responsible for ensuring reasonable standardization across TAC sites such that there is consistent use of practices, procedures, documentation, and the like. Therefore, Regional Directors should be highly knowledgeable about TACs practices and procedures.
  • Act as an extension of the Marketing and Communications team to create community partnerships for recruitment and intake purposes.
  • In collaboration with Intake, Billing and the designated site, work quickly to onboard clients and maintain the sites client census which includes, but is not limited to:
    • Attending the weekly billing/intake/authorization calls
    • Following organizational guidelines for setting assessment dates
    • Ensuring that all requirements for onboarding are completed before the onset of therapy
  • Employ creative problem solving for dynamic situations involved caseloads and site capacity
  • Participate, as necessary, in work groups and projects including, but not limited to quality, operations, or accreditation.
  • Assumes the responsibility of a mandated reporter concerning incidents of alleged abuse and neglect, as outlined by state guidelines and in accordance with the organizations policies
  • Performs all other assigned duties as required
  • The work required by Regional Director can reasonably take place in indoor and outdoor settings, except in inclement weather
  • Work may be performed in a clinic setting, the clients home or in some other community setting

What We Prefer:

  • At least 5 years of experience working with individuals with ASD
  • Previous Site Director experience is highly preferred

Physical & Basic Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to lift and carry children and/or adaptive equipment
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures for extended periods of time
    • Examples: Kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing
  • Must be able to sit on the floor for an extended period of time
  • Must be willing and able to make quick body movements
  • Must be able to understand and execute detailed communication about clients
  • Must maintain a professional appearance aligned with the organizations dress code, but also with hygiene and grooming
  • Must be physically present at clinic site, unless using PTO, benefit time, or with approval from supervisor
