The Manager, Financial Reporting is responsible for accounting policy, SEC reporting and management oversight of the Company's compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. This includes keeping abreast of all aspects of technical accounting rules and regulations, determining the impact to the Company, and formulating the Company's response. All applicable Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) issues that impact the Company are reviewed in detail by the Manager, Financial Reporting. Position papers on accounting, auditing and internal control issues impacting the Company are prepared and/or reviewed by the Manager, Financial Reporting. These position papers are frequently topics of discussion at meetings of the Company's Disclosure and Audit Committees. This position is also responsible for the implementation and ongoing compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes - Oxley Act of 2002.

Specific responsibilities:
  • Management oversight of the Company's documentation and testing of controls in connection with Sarbanes - Oxley 404.
  • Coordinates the preparation and filing of all external reporting packages, including quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings and the Company's Annual Report; monthly, quarterly and annual bank packages; and assists with monthly and quarterly press releases.
  • Drafts and/or reviews position papers on all accounting, auditing and internal control issues impacting the Company.
  • Oversees the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other reports, including the Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, Statement of Cash Flows, and Statement of Stockholders' Equity.
  • Responsible for all accounting associated with stock-based compensation under FAS 123(R)

  • BS in Accounting required. CPA preferred.
  • Big 4 background desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years SEC reporting experience.
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • 6-7 years of general accounting experience
  • Superior analytical, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
