Company Overview:
Phaxis is a rapidly growing beauty client seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join its Corporate Finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the company's regional Accounting and Finance teams, supporting global consolidation and financial reporting.

About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong analytical and accounting skills, as well as advanced Excel skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of management reports and schedules. Additionally, they will prepare and review Group and legal entity financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Other key responsibilities include preparing consolidation journal entries and reconciliations, analyzing account fluctuations, and reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) or other consolidation tools
  • Experience in general ledger and financial statements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • 3-4+ years of total work experience in accounting and finance

Benefits:
