LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company based in Newark, Delaware. We are in search of a Financial Reporting Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting, particularly with SEC filings, and a strong background in technical accounting. This role requires a CPA and a minimum of 7-10 years of combined experience, including 3-4 years in public accounting.

Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager

Location: Newark, DE (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K reports.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, FASB, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.
  • Manage the technical accounting and reporting processes.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with FERC regulations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial reporting matters.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of combined experience in financial reporting and accounting.
  • 3-4 years of public accounting experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm.
  • Extensive experience with SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
  • Strong knowledge of SOX, FASB, GAAP, and technical accounting.
  • Experience in the utility or energy industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
