LOCATION: The preferred candidate should be based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area of the United States, working in hours that align to ET (Eastern Timezone). This role requires in-office support, the ideal candidate should be onsite 3 times per week.

THE ROLE:

Apply Digital is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager with specific experience in implementing and managing CPQ solutions to join our North American team. You are a champion of project management best practices and fluent in Agile, but flexible enough to apply the best methodologies to solve the right problems to drive flawless execution and delivery for our clients. In this role, you will focus on setting teams up for success to help implement compelling digital experiences, with a particular emphasis on industrial/manufacturing CPQ solutions. The ideal candidate would also have experience with PIM and OMS tools and processes along with technical implementations across web, mobile, e-commerce, and other platforms and products. You will champion the best ideas, regardless of their source, and bring a deep understanding of strategy, technology, design, and operations to deliver integrated digital experiences and products. You are detail-oriented yet maintain a strategic, big-picture perspective, enabling you to drive transformative change for our clients' businesses. You possess exceptional communication skills, whether collaborating with developers, designers, or senior executives and understand how to manage diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage complex technical projects, with a particular emphasis on CPQ solutions for industrial/manufacturing companies, from product selection through project initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage all aspects of the project lifecycle including defining and translating client business outcomes and product requirements into clear, actionable roadmaps and schedules and owning the execution against those plans.
    • Incorporate agile or hybrid-agile methodologies as appropriate while being adaptable to select best practices for efficient project delivery and effective production workflows across multi-disciplinary teams.
    • Conduct project meetings including scrum or other ceremonies, with clear agendas and actionable outcomes
    • Effectively track, manage & report on project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient project delivery.
    • Identify and mitigate risks balance the business needs versus technical constraints and know when to escalate accordingly
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, key milestones, and any changes in scope.
    • Continuously engage with the client, account leadership and team to ensure we deliver the value expected of each engagement.
What we are looking for:
    • 10+ years of demonstrated track record leading teams delivering end-to-end digital solutions in an agency or product organization, ideally with leading global brands
    • Previous experience as a Program Manager or in a Technical management role leading large delivery teams in software development and web technologies.
    • Experience leading headless implementations of various CPQ, PIM and OMS platforms
    • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD and project management methodologies including agile, hybrid-agile, scrum, kanban and others.
    • Knowledge of technical concepts and tools (ie. AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, commerce, platform integrations).
    • Proven track record in fostering partnerships with Director, VP or C-suite clients and internal stakeholders
    • Proficiency in using project management software tools and collaboration platforms. (e.g., Jira/Confluence, MS Teams, Notion, Google Suite, Instagantt, Smartsheet).
