Long-Term Care Order Entry Pharmacy Technician

We have a full-time position opening for an order entry pharmacy technician. This position works Monday - Friday and every third weekend.
Main duties include:
- Performing entry of new and refill orders.
- Possess knowledge of medication names and their generic equivalents.
- Prescription filling on floor when necessary.
- Assist with batch end of day process.
- Perform NDC changes.
- Run cycle fill process.
- Understand daily deadlines for orders.
- Process new admissions and help collect paperwork, and more.
We are a high-volume pharmacy with a fast-paced environment. Pharmacy technician experience is preferred. Our approach to employee development involves hands on experience within the daily working environment. Pay rate will be based off experience.
Must have clean background record and drug screen. EOE.
Job Type: Full-time.Pay: $14-$19 per hour depending on experience.
