About the Job

This is a full-time position with a regular Monday to Friday schedule and an every fourth weekend rotation.

Duties:

  • Preparing sterile medications using aseptic technique.
  • Inventory management.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Dispensing in other areas on the floor when needed, and other daily pharmacy technician tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operations and medical terminology is necessary.
  • Compounding sterile medications in a cleanroom is preferred but not required.

This position requires a high level of responsibility and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Board certification is preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred).
