  • Healthcare Compliance Certification is required.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements under the supervision of the Regional Vice President (RVP). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards and excellent writing and analytical skills.

Duties:
  • Develops, reviews, and updates compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards for approval by RVP.
  • Researches and analyzes regulatory changes and updates to determine the impact on organizational policies and procedures.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of training programs to educate employees on compliance policies and procedures under the approval of the RVP.
  • Prepares and submits accreditation applications and responses to regulatory bodies.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, including training records and policy updates.
  • Conducts compliance audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement as requested by the RVP.
  • Provides guidance and support on compliance-related matters under the approval of the RVP.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in healthcare compliance 
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., law, regulatory affairs, compliance) - preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance software applications.
  • Experience with accreditation processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies and industry standards.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
